Greetings St. George’s Parents,
My name is Jim Quigley, and I am your student’s chaplain. St. George’s has graciously allowed me, from time to time, to contact you via the school’s e-mail list. I promise that I will not fill your inbox with religious tracts – my purpose as an institutional chaplain is the same as the faculty and administration at St. George’s and I dare say yours: That together we institute in your children a love of learning, a love of self and a love of neighbor no matter our ethnic, religious or cultural background.
From time to time I will work with universal themes in an effort to “stretch” our chapel lessons into other areas of your child’s educational life and perhaps encourage conversations between you and your children in regard to these themes. I assure you that these lessons will be humanitarian and ecumenical rather than evangelical or denominational in nature.
