Tuition is payable twice during the year. Sixty percent of the total tuition is due in the business office by July 1st for the succeeding school year. The remaining forty percent is due by January 1st of the current school year. The pre-paid enrollment fee is applied to the balance due January 1st and is non-refundable. Fees for resource services are billed by the semester following IEP conferences in September and January.
All school fees including tuition not paid within 30 days will be assessed a 1% per month late charge for each month thereafter.
In accordance with Board of Trustees policy: No child will be allowed to return to school following the Christmas holidays whose first semester tuition has not been paid in full. No child will be allowed to return after March 15 whose second semester tuition has not been paid in full. Parents whose accounts are in arrears will be notified.
Tuition Financing Plan
St. George’s has an agreement with a local bank offering a financing plan to parents so that the cost of tuition and fees can be distributed over the school year on a monthly basis. This information is distributed each year through the Business Office. Please contact the Business Office if you need additional information.
Tuition Refund Plan
A. W. G. Dewar of Boston makes available to parents an insured tuition plan which will pay a major percentage of the tuition if a student has a long illness, is dismissed from school, moves away from the Greater New Orleans area or because of some other adversity the student is not able to attend school. In order to obtain this insurance, payment for the insurance must be made in full before the first school day of the current school year. Information on this plan is distributed each year with re-enrollment contracts. Please contact the Business Office if you need additional information.
