The event serves as the spring board meeting and an opportunity to celebrate outgoing board members and welcome incoming board members. St. George’s Episcopal School’s Dragon Players presented “Wonderland,” a new interpretation of Lewis Carroll’s classic, "Alice in Wonderland", on March 9, 10, 17 and 18.  The modernized tale featured music by rock group Imagine Dragons, performances by students and teachers along with an updated script and storyline overseen by student writers. TREE FEST 2015 was held at St. George's on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Hosted by The NOLA Tree Project (formerly Hike4KaTREEna), nearly 500 trees were given away to local area residents and 100 citrus trees were sold in a continuing effort to restore the 100,000 plus trees lost in Hurricanes Katrina and Rita 10 years ago. St. George's is pleased and proud to announce that the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) has named technology teacher Allie Segura as a PBS Learning Media Lead Digital Innovator. Not only is Segura the sole Louisiana teacher selected as a recipient for this distinction in 2015, but she has also been named to a small group of just 30 innovators deserving of the Lead title.
