Ready, Set, Read

Summer 2018 Information

Ready, Set, Read is a summer reading program open to students entering first through fifth grades. Skilled language/reading specialists will provide reading, spelling and writing instruction in a program utilizing phonological awareness and sequential, multisensory, Orton-Gillingham based approaches to teach students who struggle with the reading process or have been diagnosed with dyslexia. Each class will have no more than three students in a group.

Students can:

 - Gain improvements in phonological awareness, phonics, decoding and reading fluency skills

 - Learn strategies for improved reading comprehension

 - Increase spelling and writing skills

 - Become more self-confident and independent learners

Dates & Times

Session 1: June 11 - June 29, 2018

Class 1: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Class 2: 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Session 2: July 9 - July 27, 2018

Class 1: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Class 2:
10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Fee

St. George's Students: $725 per session for Class 1 or 2
Non-St. George's Students: $725 per session for Class 1 or 2, plus a $50 non-refundable screening fee
A non-refundable deposit of $325 is due upon registration.
